2004년 여름에 창간된 퍼플 저널의 첫 번째 호는, 앞으로 독자와 작가들이 함께할 새로운 여정에의 희망과 기대로 부풀어 있습니다.
이전에 발간되어 많은 이들의 뜨거운 관심과 사랑을 받았던 정기간행물인 'Purple'과 저널 'Helene'의 연속이며 새 출발인 The Purple Journal은, 고유의 목소리를 잃지 않으면서 삶의 가능성과 그 아름다움에 대해 고찰할 것입니다.

파리에서의 27개의 생생한 이야기들이 사진과 함께 기록되어 특별 구성되었는데,
이는 Purple Journal 만의 화법이라고 일컬을 수 있는 하나의 스타일이며 다른 정기간행물들과 구별되는 중요한 단서이기도 합니다.
